All Friends Together programs are open to the public and free of charge. Friends Together offers several ongoing programs of support for individuals and families touched by cancer. Friends Together programs are designed for any person impacted by cancer - Adults, Teens, Caregivers, Families, & Friends. Contact us before, during & after treatment to get the support you need.

The Friends Together office is based in Alpena, Michigan. We proudly serve six northeast Michigan counties: Alcona, Alpena, Iosco, Montmorency, Oscoda, and Presque Isle.
transportation & lodging support
A cancer diagnosis can be overwhelming. If treatment takes you to MyMichigan’s Alpena’s Cancer Center or another Michigan health center, contact us. Lack of reliable transportation should not prevent anyone from receiving cancer treatment. Have a car, but the cost of fuel is overwhelming? We can provide gas cards to defray the cost of cancer.
