Online Support Groups
In addition to in person support groups located in Iosco, Alcona, Alpena and Presque Isle Couties we also offer an online option for the following groups-
Guys Like Us - Wednesdays at 10:00 am. This men’s only group is for cancer patients and survivors. Meet and get support from others who understand your journey. Click to join - BIT.LY/FTGUYS
Circle of Hope - Wednesdays at 4:30 pm. Circle of Hope is a women’s only group for cancer patients and survivors. Join with others in a caring, supportive environment. Click to join - BIT.LY/FTHOPE
NE MI Cancer Connect - Thursdays at 5:30 pm. Join us online at BIT.LY/FTCONNECT NE MI Cancer Connect is a new way for patients, survivors, caregivers and support people to connect socially, discuss experiences and share information on resources.
This drop in style meeting is open to anyone who has been impacted by cancer and lives in the Friends Together service area of Iosco, Oscoda, Alcona, Alpena, Montmorency or Presque Isle counties.
Upcoming Fundraising Events
Dueling Pianos is returning to the MI Brown Trout Festival on Thursday, July 23rd. Entrance to the Big Tent opens at 6 pm with 7:30 pm showtime. Come out for music and laughs! It’s sure to be a good time for a great cause! Tickets just $20 at BIT.LY/FTPIANO
Friends Together is once again holding our Mystery Purse Party at Maplewood Tavern on August 4, 2026!
Doors open at 4:30 pm. There is no admission fee.
How it works! - Purse tokens are $20 each. Each token is matched to a corresponding numbered purse. When your number is drawn, you will be matched with your mystery purse! You might get a designer bag or something that looks a little less than luxurious... Either way, you will find some fun surprises in your purse!
The event will also feature raffles, games and lots of laughs. Come with your friends, or by yourself and meet some new ones!
